Save the date for PYSO’s Annual Fundraiser at Heinz Hall - "Italian Prelude" on Saturday, June 12, 2010 – 6:00-9:00 PM. This event will help in Raising funds to support PYSO's educational programs, including PYSO's Tour to Italy in 2011. Buy tickets now at the discounted price of $60. After May 2, 2010 ticket price is $75.

Already this year, PYSO collaborated with the Opera Theater of Pittsburgh in Brundibar, a one act children’s opera for all the family that was performed at CAPA High School in Pittsburgh on November 6, 7, and 8. The first Heinz Hall concert of the 2009-10 season was MAGIC and MYSTERY on November 15. Upcoming Heinz Hall concerts in 2010 are on FEBRUARY 20 and MAY 2.

In 2008, PYSO represented Pittsburgh as "Junior Ambassadors to China" during their two-week tour, our first international tour to Asia, with concerts in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Hong Kong.
